News Thursday, November 5th, 2009Whitby Sea Anglers Fishing Club Results – Nov 1st 2009
A strong south easterly wind had switched to a south westerly gale for the start of the Sunday 4 hour match fished by the Whitby sea anglers. There was some big swells running at some of the venues but the strong winds and fresh rain water from the local streams meant fishing was to be poor.
Andrew Cass found a couple of cod from his chosen mark and gained his first win of the season with 2 codling for 6lb 10 ounces. As usual, Brian Harland wasnt far behind, and he had 3 fish for 1 lb 15 ounces. Rob Allsion took third with 3 fish for 1lb 14 ounces.
RESULTS: 1) A.CASS 6-10 (2) 2)B.HARLAND 1-15 (3) 3)R.ALLISON 1-14 (3) 4) D.THOMPSON 1-12 (3)
